Concept To Reality: Landed Show Thailand Returns For 2025

Share

The last hints of winter in Thailand set the stage for an exciting car show in Korat province, two and a half hours’ drive from Bangkok.

Held on the golf greens at the Rancho Charnvee Resort & Country Club Khao Yai, the 2025 Landed Show – the second of its kind since debuting last year – exceeded all expectations.

The event was born by friends who share the same passion for cars – Keng Benz Dang, Stance Mania, Khub-Tie, Adap, and Garage N1. The idea for the Landed Show was first floated by our youngest member, and knowing that the owner of Rancho Charnvee also shared our enthusiasm for cars, we put two and two together. After meeting in person, it was clear that we were on the same page, and securing the venue was a smooth process.

Rancho Charnvee Resort & Country Club’s immaculate golf course, with its 18 holes, presented us with several venue options. However, we were immediately drawn to the 7th hole. Its scenic backdrop, proximity to the clubhouse, and, importantly, accessibility for low cars, made it the ideal spot for our show.

However, once we returned home and started planning, we quickly realized how challenging the logistics would be. The event would incur various costs, from generator hire for electricity to stage rental. We knew we would need financial assistance. However, having no prior experience organizing such an event, we were unsure how to present our vision for the Landed Show to potential sponsors. After all, this type of event had never been done in Thailand before.

We made a simple presentation and approached our first potential sponsors, who signed up on the spot. While that was great, we hadn’t asked for much money – we needed more sponsors. This proved difficult as most businesses we talked to couldn’t picture our grand vision for the show. The answer? Photographing one of our cars on the 7th hole and using the images in our promotion. This made the event concept clearer to everyone, and soon after, we started receiving the support we needed.

Landed Show 2024 was a big success, drawing in a large crowd and leaving us with a sense of accomplishment. Building on that we moved forward with Landed Show 2025.

This year, the event saw even more interest, including guests from overseas, which was great to see. Our Malaysian friends drove up to join in the fun too, and the overall number of participants eclipsed the first year’s.

Everyone feels the Landed Show is an exciting step forward for Thailand’s modified and custom car scene, and I can’t wait to see how it evolves in the future. The event was also a nice teaser for Thailand’s biggest car event – the Impact Speed Festival – which will take place in June at Muang Thong Thani in Bangkok. Organized by 6Zero and Infinite Media and running over three days and two nights, the event will bring together key players in the local motorsport industry, plus car clubs, tuning shops, and automotive media. If you needed an excuse to visit Thailand, this could be it!
