F1 NATION: Piastri wins in dominant style as Verstappen gets everyone talking – it’s our Spain GP review

Oscar Piastri delivered a masterclass from pole position to win the Spanish Grand Prix from his McLaren team mate Lando Norris. But while those two sailed towards the line, there was plenty going on behind.

A late Safety Car caused chaos, with Max Verstappen left on the hard tyre at the restart. That led to a chain of events that saw him collide with George Russell in what has become one of the biggest talking points of the season so far.

After the race, F1 journalists Jesús Balseiro and Julianne Cerasoli joined joined Tom Clarkson in the Barcelona paddock to discuss an eventful Spanish Grand Prix in this week’s F1 Nation podcast.

They give their views on all of the clashes at the end of the race, with Charles Leclerc involved as well. The Monegasque driver wound up on the podium, but team mate Lewis Hamilton was left much unhappier with his Sunday as he trailed across the line down in sixth.
